TomNorton published Lorry spills its load onto Derby Road

Firefighters were called to Derby Road after a lorry's cargo spilled out into the street. The lorry, which had driven from Stoke on Trent, was carrying among its load a container of a non-hazardous sodium solution. While turning at the bottom of Derby Road, near the junction at Maid Marian roundabout, restraints on the container snapped causing it to fly out.
