A flat was left severely damaged after a fire broke on Wednesday evening. Three firefighting crews had to be sent out to put out the blaze in Corporation Oaks, Mapperley Park. Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service first got the call at around 7.30pm. Crews from Central and Arnold fire station were sent out initially who then had to radio in further support from West Bridgford.
