TomNorton published Crash on M1 closes two lanes of traffic

A multi-vehicle crash left parts of the M1 southbound closed. The crash, which was reported at around midday on Monday, caused two lane closuresDrivers were warned to approach the scene, between junctions 19 and 20, with caution as Highways Agency East Midlands investigated. The vehicles were later pulled from the motorway onto the hard shoulder - all lanes have now been re-opened.
