Motorist were left stuck in snaking queues after repairs along the tram extension caused gridlock.A small section of road was dug up along University Boulevard heading towards Beeston this morning.But the minor work, which happened alongside the ongoing tram development, caused traffic to back up from near the junction at Queen's Road East to Dunkirk island.
