PUPILS and performers from Nottingham have welcomed the launch of a £9 million project to build a performance arts theatre at a city school.Alumni and students were at the launch yesterday of The Squire Performing Arts Centre (The SPACe) at the Nottingham Girls' High School, a project that has taken nearly eight years to develop.The building will include a 345-seat performance space, orchestra pit and rehearsal rooms among other features.The opening was attended by alumnae and former M15..
