A car became stuck on tram tracks after a crash earlier this evening.The tram between Wilford Lane and Ruddington Lane was closed in both directions after the collision.Police were called to Wilford Lane at around 8.10pm on Friday.Officers were still there by 9.15pm, waiting for a recovery vehicle.It is not the first time that a car has become trapped on tram lines.In October, a 4x4 became wedged on the Lenton Lane Bridge.
