Plans have been put forward to extend a 30mph speed limit along a section of road near Sherwood Forest.A consultation is on-going to introduce the new limit in Church Street and Swinecote Road – a 45m extension to what is already in place.Residents have been sent letters, and advised to send feedback about the proposals.VIA East Midlands, which manages the County's highway network on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council, say the changes are being introduced as a result of the proposed.
