Nigel Pearson has been named manager of Nottingham Forest's arch-rivals Derby County. Pearson had originally been a contender to take on the job at the City Ground, having been understood to be on a shortlist of bosses interesting the Reds. But he has now signed a three-year deal with the Rams, with former Huddersfield Town manager Chris Powell as his assistant. And Pearson says he is happy to have taken charge of 'one of the biggest clubs in the country'.
