A recovering drug addictwas caught before he threw cannabis over the wall of HM Prison Ranby, a court heard. Jason Donald, 31, of Albany Road, Sherwood Rise, was detained close to the prison on June 27 last year. Dawn Pritchard, prosecuting, said it was believed a "throw over" was about to take place, and Donald was searched and two brown taped packages found in his coat pockets.
