A man must obey a curfew after pawning his girlfriend's property while she was away from her Nottingham home. The city's magistrates' court heard that Steven Bettinson, 34, received £110 from Cash Generators after handing over a television and two mobile phones. At an earlier hearing, Bettinson was found guilty of theft from a house on Longford Crescent, Nottingham between October 17 and 22 as well as three charges of fraudulently selling the items.
