An inquest has revealed that the man who died falling from a bridge on the A50 was from Long EatonThe inquest opened on Thursday. Assistant Coroner for Derbyshire, Paul McCandless, said David Thompson was pronounced dead on the eastbound carriageway of the A50, close to Toyota island, on Sunday.He said Mr Thompson, 60, of Brendon Way, Long Eaton, was formally identified by his brother-in-law, Ernie Baker, of Bramcote, Nottingham, at the Royal Derby Hospital, the following day.Mr McCandless said:
