PMBlackburn published World War One fallen heroes remembered in Carlton book

THE sacrifices of soldiers who bravely fought in the First World War have been celebrated as part of a community project to document their lives.The Carlton Remembers WW1 booklet, which was unveiled on Saturday, lists the achievements and honours of around 110 men and women who served during the Great War to mark the centenary of the outbreak of war.Compiled by five volunteers who took stories, photos and information from members of the public in the area, the finished 64 page booklet was..
