PMBlackburn published Medieval merriment at Nottingham's historic castle

Families were transported back to medieval times in the grounds of Nottingham's historic castle.The event, which took place on Saturday, featured an archaeological dig as well as stalls where people could try their hand at archery, learn to become a knight or find out about medieval medicine and surgery.Nottingham's official Robin Hood was on hand to greet people young and old.He said: "It's lovely.
