PMBlackburn published House fire causes 'severe damage' in Ravenshead

Firefighters battled a blaze that "severely damaged" a Ravenshead house for nearly an hour and a half.Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue was called to a one storey property in Gorse Hill, Ravenshead at around 11pm on Saturday night.Engines attended from Arnold, Ashfield and Mansfield fire stations to tackle the blaze which was not put out until 12.25am.The fire service said the fire had started in a bedroom and severely damaged the single floor house.
