PMBlackburn published Firefighters tackle Upper Parliament Street blaze

Firefighters were called to a blaze above a shop in the city centre on Saturday night.The fire broke out at around 9.50pm in a kitchen extractor in the roof of a building between Upper Parliament Street and Forman Street.Upper Parliament Street was completely taped off while firefighters tackled the blaze - with three crews on the scene.The fire was put out by 10.30pm and the road is reopen. Nobody was reported to have been injured.
