PMBlackburn published Firefighters battle Woodborough Road cafe blaze

Four fire engines and crews battled a blaze at a cafe called Briers in Woodborough Road.A three-floor building in use as a cafe and accommodation, approximately 8m by 12m had seen a fire break out on the ground floor.Crews were called to the scene at 6.40pm and put out the fire at 7.21pm.Engines and an officer attended from Carlton and Central fire stations to tackle the blaze.Nobody was injured and all people were accounted for.
