PMBlackburn published Animal lovers urged to give a rabbit a home
Animal lovers are being urged to look beyond cats and dogs when it comes to adopting a pet - with hundreds of rabbits made homeless every year in Nottinghamshire.The plight of the furry friends was highlighted at city soap shop Lush, in Clumber Street, on Saturday as Brinsley Animal Rescue set up a stall to explain the problem.The charity currently has 30 rabbits to home and has had to turn away 100 in the last year due to not having space or money to help."There's a huge number of rabbits.
