Nottingham Forest's players reported back for pre-season training today – with Nicky Maynard understood to have been involved for the first time.The Reds squad returned to work at the Nigel Doughty Academy following their summer break – and are in for a tough week.Boss Dougie Freedman is planning to put his players through as many as three sessions a day initially, as he looks to work on their fitness from day one.Summer recruits Matt Mills and Jamie Ward are not expected to join in.
