The shortlist for this year's Turner Prize includes an artist whose work was exhibited at Nottingham Contemporary. Lubaina Himid, 62, who was born in Zanzibar, is one of the four finalists up for the prestigious award, along with British painter Hurvin Anderson, German artist Andrea Buttner and Palestinian-English artist Rosalind Nashashibi.Himid, who now lives in Preston, celebrates black creativity with her work, which includes paintings, prints, drawings and installations.Some of her pieces..
