Backlit Studios and Gallery in Nottingham successfully beat the competition to secure artist Gillian Wearing through this year's Museums at Night, Connect competition.
Competing directly with Strange Cargo in Folkstone, The Turner Contemporary in Margate, The Dylan Thomas Centre Swansea and The Museum of Croydon, Backlit managed to secure 58% of the votes in their category to bring the YBA and Turner Prize winning artist to Nottingham in October.
