Nottingham Post published Work on Gedling link road to start in 2017

Work on a long-awaited link road designed to take traffic away from the village of Gedling will start in autumn 2017.Nottinghamshire County Council has announced the start date for the £32m 3.8km Gedling Access Road, which will link Burton Road to Mapperley Plains.Permission for the road, which has been in the pipeline for decades, was granted last December, with plans fine-tuned since.The council expects the work to be complete by spring 2019.Villagers had been campaigning for the road...
