RESIDENTS have backed the building of a metal barrier to ease traffic problems in West Bridgford.Work is almost complete on the fence which runs for about 300 yards parallel with Alford Road Sports Pavilion playing field – a hotspot for heavy congestion at weekends.As well as deterring drivers from parking on the field, it is hoped the fence will bolster security for young footballers.Florence Naylor, 85, of Alford Road, said: "We suffer from terrible traffic in this area."It is...
