A weather warning has been issued for snow and ice in the East Midlands.People are being warned of wintry weather from 6pm to midnight on Friday.The Met Office said: "A wintry mix of sleet and snow showers are likely to extend inland across parts of eastern, southeastern and central England on Wednesday night into Thursday.
