Nottingham Post published Victim of M1 crash named as Michael Luciw

One of the victims in a crash on the M1 has been named by police as Michael Luciw, of Radford.The 27-year-old was a passenger in a white Ford Transit van when it was hit by a blue Mazda Premacy which was travelling the wrong way down the motorway.The 87-year-old driver of the Mazda was killed in the collision and, like Mr Luciw, was pronounced dead at the scene at around 2.30am on Monday, October 12.The smash happened close to junction 24 of the southbound carriageway.
