Almost 100 people sang and danced in Strelley on Sunday as they marked 70 years since the end of the Second World War.Victory in Japan Day events were being held across the country but there was something particularly quaint about the one at Strelley Hall.Waving their Union Flags in unison and dancing to the beat of 1940s music, people from across Nottingham remembered the fallen in a special way.And around £500 was raised for The Poppy Appeal in the process.
