Nottingham Post published Thoresby Colliery: Snapper's book is a mine of history

It's been a grim Christmas for the remnants of the mining community in Yorkshire. This month the closure of Kellingley Colliery near Beal brought to an end the centuries-old tradition of underground coal mining in Britain.
