Neighbours have spoken of their shock after an elderly woman was left in a critical condition in hospital.A man has been charged with attempted murder following the incident at the woman's home in Ipswich Circus, Sneinton.The 80-year-old woman was taken to hospital after the incident last Wednesday, and was in a critical condition on Saturday.
