Joint caretaker boss Richard Dryden has welcomed Scot Bennett's return to Notts County. Bennett's loan spell with Newport was cut short by the Magpies, with the former Exeter defender in excellent form. He helped Newport climb off the bottom of the table and out of the relegation zone as he inspired John Sheridan's side to a ten-game unbeaten run.
