News of the Nepal earthquake which killed more than 2,300 people shocked the world in April and left the family of a Nottingham women fearing for her life. Eleanor Walker Corritere, known as Ele, was caught up in the quake which shook the South Asian country on the 25 April. The 35-year-old, of Sherwood Rise, Carrington, who was 25 weeks pregnant at the time of the disaster, was a witness to the earthquake while on her way to see a doctor.
