Nottingham Post published Nottinghamshire piper is in for a busy Burns weekend

THIS weekend will be a busy one for proud Scot Bill Fernie.As a piper, he has been booked to play at three Nottinghamshire events for this year's Burns Night celebrations, in honour of Scottish poet Robert Burns.The 48-year-old will be "piping in the haggis" at a dance held by the Nottingham Scottish Association on Saturday night, as well as marking the occasion at The Lurcher pub in Rainworth, and at the Equalized Club, in Stapleford, where he lives.The dad-of-four, who plays with the...
