Nottinghamshire were left frustrated as the third day of their Specsavers County Championship match against Middlesex at Lord's was lost to rain. The groundstaff began removing the covers at 2.30pm after morning rain, but just as umpires Rob Bailey and Billy Taylor were inspecting an hour later it started to rain again.
