Student Jessica Greaney spent "a week from hell" being treated in hospital after a parasite was found eating away at her eye.The 19-year-old English student at the University of Nottingham was kept awake for four consecutive days and allowed only six hours' sleep for the next three days, as doctors administered eye drops as frequently as once every 10 minutes to get rid of the bug.
