Nordic walkers strode on the grounds of Wollaton Hall to promote their sport.The pole-assisted activity, which originated in Finland, involves walking at a faster pace as a way of exercising.More than one hundred avid walkers were at the British Nordic Walking Exel Challenge on Sunday, where they could take part in a 5km, 10km or half marathon route around the grounds.They finished together at about noon at a 'feast table' where they refuelled and socialised.Enthusiasts claim the technique...
