Nottingham Post published New school path will help get children walking

A Nottinghamshire school is striding forward with the help of a Paralymipian to get children walking, running and skipping more.Gotham Primary School unveiled its new £14,000 purposed built all-weather Daily Mile path which encourages pupils to walk a mile a day.The school welcomed triathlon silver medallist Alison Patrick to open the path.Head teacher Sue Lymn-Brewin, from the Kegworth Road school, said: "We have a lovely big field on site so a path was perfect.
