The M1 will remain closed southbound until at least 7pm after two men died in a crash on Monday morning.An 87-year-old and 27-year-old died - following reports of a car driving the wrong way down the carriageway.It happened at about 2am near to junction 24 of the southbound carriageway and involved a blue Mazda Premacy and a white Ford Transit van.The 87-year-old driver of the Mazda and a 27-year-old, who was a passenger in the van, were both pronounced dead at the scene.A statement by Highways.
