The home of Robin Hood was given a mediaeval makeover this weekend as a re-enactment group set up camp near the Major Oak.Medical tools, armour and an old-fashioned kitchen were all set up in the heart of Sherwood Forest with families encouraged to find out more about the times when the Outlaw roamed the land.It was part of a display put on by the Dogs of War group and members were keen to bust a few misconceptions about how primitive life was in days gone by.James Askins, of Long Eaton, said:..
