Nottingham Post published Flood warning issued for River Trent

A flood warning has been issued for parts of Nottinghamshire after a high level of rain this week. This has caused parts of the River Trent to be higher than usual, meaning a risk of flooding to low ground and some roads. Areas that could be affected include a section from Cromwell Weir, in Newark, to Gainsborough, in Lincolnshire. The Met Office has issued a warning for all residents to be prepared for potential flooding.
