Nottingham Post published Extreme wet weather warning extended for Nottingham

An extreme wet weather warning has been extended for the Bank Holiday weekend by the Met Office.A yellow alert for heavy rain and thunderstorms was already in place for Saturday but has been extended by two days by the forecaster.The alert, which covers all of Nottinghamshire, will now end on Monday May 29 at 4.00pm.They say heavy, thundery showers on Saturday afternoon and evening have the potential to bring localised flooding, hail and frequent lightning, most likely from 4pm onwards.Read...
