Nottingham Post published Elise Christie crowned triple world champion

Elise Christie claimed a second and third gold medal in two days at the World Short Track Championships in Rotterdam on Sunday.After winning the women's 1,500m final on Saturday, the Nottingham-based 26-year-old won in the women's 1,000m and then followed it up by winning the overall title. On a fantastic day for the Scot, Christie also claimed bronze in the 3,000m, meaning she now has a collection of nine silver and bronze medals as well as three world titles.Read more: Elise Christie is world.
