A drunk builder who smashed a front window of a Mapperley pub was left nursing a £1,200 hangover on Monday.Gavin Ferns' antics were caught on camera and he was so disgusted that he could not bear to see the incident again after one viewing, magistrates in Nottingham heard.The civil engineer hurled an A-frame through one of the main windows of the Duke of Cambridge on November 20. The repair bill was £800.When he appeared in court, Ferns was ordered to pay for a replacement and fined.
