Nottingham Post published Digital blog: Will Twitter get 'instant timelines'?

Interesting developments have been taking place over at Twitter HQ; including a decision which may usher in yet another sea change for future Twitter audiences. It appears that the social media titans are toying with the idea of launching 'Instant Timelines', a feature which would pre-populate a new Twitter user's feed with 'relevant' tweets.In simple terms, people would be able to join Twitter and not go through the arduous process of 'following' people but simply indicate what their interests.
