A knife-wielding 'torturer' must serve an extra four weeks behind bars after wasting top judges' time with a hopeless appeal.'Dangerous' Ashley David Deavin, 23, of Melford Road, Bilborough, was convicted of robbery and wounding with intent on October 31 last year.He was locked up for 12 years at Nottingham Crown Court.Deavin was also ordered to serve an extra three years on licence after his release as the judge considered him a 'danger to the public'.The 52-year-old victim was known to Deavin.
