Nottingham Post published Colwick Loop Road re-opens after death of pedestrian

Colwick Loop Road has re-opened in both directions after a man was hit by a lorry on Friday morning.Police confirmed the man died as a result of his injuries.The collision took place at around 6.30am, and police cordoned off the road between the Racecourse Road junction to the Victoria Park Way junction. Traffic was building up around the area, with diversions through Sneinton Dale and Carlton Hill in place. Bus routes were also having to be diverted.
