Nottingham Post published Co-op store to be built in Wollaton pub car park

Residents are split over a planning application to build a new Co-op in a pub car park. Nottingham City Council's planning committee has agreed to the project, on Lambourne Drive, in Wollaton, as an addition to the parking spaces for the Wollaton Pub and Kitchen. Developers say there is "limited provision" of convenience stores in the area so the 372sqm shop would be a welcome addition to the suburb.
