Nottingham Post published Chilwell hotel opens its doors to the homeless this Easter
Dozens of homeless people were treated to a warm meal and some good company this Easter thanks to a Nottinghamshire hotel.The Village Hotel in Chilwell threw open its doors on Bank Holiday Monday to offer a carvery meal for 80 people who might otherwise have been left without a hot meal this weekend.Staff at the hotel worked alongside the Canaan Trust, a charity which helps homeless males, to organise the event.Kevin Curtis, manager of The Canaan Trust said: "Everyone thinks homelessness is...
