Nottingham Post published Businesses affected after city centre blaze
Firefighters rushed to tackle a blaze which started in Nottingham city centre this afternoon. The fire broke out shortly before 2pm in a lift motor room at a building in Milton Street. Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said the fire involved a five-storey building and a considerable amount of smoke could be seen coming from the building.Crews from Arnold, London Road and Carlton fire stations were called to the scene in Milton Street at around 2pm on Tuesday, February 7.
