Nottingham Post published Best Foot Forward: Strelley and Cossall Marsh (6 miles)

THIS six-mile walk spans the M1 but takes us beyond the roar of traffic into gentle countryside around Cossall. Allow two and a half hours.Go beyond Nottingham's western boundary road, the A6002, and up the lane to Strelley Village. On your right is the Broad Oak pub, which you may care to bear in mind if refreshment is needed at the end of the walk.The best place for parking is off-road at the dog-leg in the lane, map reference 507418.
