Nottingham Post published Best Foot Forward: Langold Lake (8 miles)

This is a circular walk which is a leisurely eight miles. Start at Langold Lake car park off Church Street in Langold, near Worksop. Nottinghamshire is where the walk starts, but we are soon in South Yorkshire on our way to the village of Firbeck. Go back up the road which you came into the car park on, through the park perimeter gates and over into Dyscarr Wood; keep to the footpath, which goes north for about a kilometre.
