Nottingham Post published Best Foot Forward: Amber Valley and Cromford Canal (10 miles)

This is a 10-mile walk in a beautiful area with many points of interest. It is a walk of two halves, the first five miles being easy flat walking and the second a little more challenging with an undulating and varying landscape.The walk begins at Cromford Wharf car park (SK300571) which is between Arkwright Mill and the church in Cromford.
