Long Eaton Victoria Angling Society member Eric Weeks enjoyed a fine last few weeks of the river season after catching a brace of big barbel.His first catch, on his first outing on the River Trent since August, saw him land a personal best barbel of 13lbs 6oz.He returned to the same stretch of the Trent a few days later and this time increased his personal best barbel to a massive 14-12 (pictured).To catch both fish Weeks used a block end feeder filled with scalded pellets and broken boilies. ..
